AI writing has a rhythm. Sentences of similar length. Lists that always come in threes. Hedges like "it's worth noting." Sentences so general they'd fit any topic. People can't always name what's wrong, but they can feel it.
"Write like a human" is too vague to fix any of that. This prompt lists the tells one by one.

Rewrite the following text so it sounds like a real person wrote it: vary sentence length, drop symmetrical three-part lists, cut hedging phrases like "it's worth noting," add one small imperfection or aside, and remove any sentence that could apply to any topic.

Cut the rule about imperfections if you're writing anything formal. It reads as sloppy there.
