Memory is useful. It's why you stop re-explaining your job every Monday. It also accumulates quietly, and most people have never once looked at what's in there.
You can just ask.
The prompt
List everything you currently remember about me from previous conversations, organized by category (work, personal, preferences). Then tell me how to edit or delete any of it.How to use it
Do it on any account you've used for more than a month. The interesting entries are the old ones.
Watch for facts that were true when you said them and aren't now. A former job title, an old manager, a project that shipped.
Worth running on a shared or work account before someone else does.
What it doesn't do
It reports what's stored in memory. It doesn't cover what the model infers from the current conversation, which resets anyway, and it isn't a complete account of what your provider retains. For that, read the privacy policy, not the chat window.
